In 2026, Celje Central Library is celebrating three important anniversaries: 120 years of public library services in Slovenian in Celje, 80 years since the establishment of the Celje Study Library, and 50 years of activity by its local history department. To mark the occasion, staff from the local history department will prepare a new story each week until the end of the year, connected with the library’s work. We have titled this growing collection of stories Discover Celje in 50 Stories.
