Glavna pot skozi Sežano se je takrat imenovala Tržaška cesta, zdaj nosi ime Partizanska cesta. V tem predelu je bilo v začetku 20. stoletja zgrajenih nekaj hiš-vil, ki jih danes ni več ( Vila Fabrovich, Vila Lina, Hyhlik, Senčar ).
