Fotografski muzej Maribor se ponaša s stalno razstavo Zbirke Avgusta in Marie Bohanec, ki vsebuje 1645 eksponatov, med katerimi je več kot 1100 fotoaparatov, filmskih kamer in projektorjev. Muzej zbirko dopolnjuje s fotoaparati mariborskih in slovenskih mojstrov fotografije, del muzeja pa je tudi galerija, v kateri prikazujejo dela največjih mojstrov fotografije.
