V prvem nadstropju starega šolskega poslopja iz časa Marije Terezije na Slomškovem trgu 10 je v letu 1919 dobila prostore celjska Glasbena matica. Zunanji izgled poslopja je ostal isti vse do gradbenih posegov v letu 1982.
