Konec osemdesetih let 20. stoletja je bilo ustanovljeno turistično podjetje Alpinum Bohinj p. o., ki je imelo v lasti 67% turističnih kapacitet v Bohinju. Poleg Hotela Pod Voglom je imelo v lasti tudi hotele Zlatorog, Jezero, Bellevue, apartmaje Triglav, avtokamp Zlatorog in restavracijo Bistrica.
