The klinčki and kušinčki group researches and preserves a long tradition of lace making in the village of Veliki Dol, where a lacemaking school existed for almost 50 years.
Afterwards, only a few individuals made bobbin lace, among them were Milka Taradi and Laura Markuža. In the group, that has been operating for the first year, twenty members make bobbin lace today, among them mainly children, as the group has the lacemaking class in Dutovlje elementary school. Klinčki in kušinčki organize monthly meetings for former pupils of Veliki Dol lace making school and collects information about its operation. Its wish is for Veliki Dol to become the lace making centre of the Karst region.
