Izdelovanje masla

Mleko je bilo na kmetijah osnovno živilo, njegova predelava v maslo, skuto ali sir pa je predstavljala dodaten zaslužek. Na kmetiji Omahna v Spodnjem Tuštanju so kupili posnemalnik mleka in modelčke za maslo. Za izdelavo kilograma masla so potrebovali od 24 do 26 litrov mleka. Maslo so prodajali Lenčku v Domžale ali pa jajčaricam, ki so ga nosile v Ljubljano. Včasih so mleko k Omahnu nosili tudi sosedje, da so jim pripravili maslo za posebne priložnosti, predvsem za poroke.
