Poleg gradu je star grajski drevored. Staro izročilo pravi, da si bosta mladoporočenca, ki se sprehodita skozi ta drevored, kar 50 let zvesta. Poleg gradu so zajezili potok Bistrico, ki po globoki dolini priteka izza Potoške gore in napaja umetno jezero Črnava.
